Brunel Table Tennis is a fun and engaging sports club open to anyone regardless of ability. Whether you're a beginner, intermediate or looking to join one of the teams, come along!
Brunel table tennis is a friendly, fun and engaging club that is made up of players with varying ability, so you should always be able to find someone your level to practise with. We welcome anyone and everyone to join, especially those who are keen to improve their game.
We offer weekly training sessions exclusively for those who are selected to play on the Brunel table tennis teams as well as weekly social sessions that are open to anyone. Bats and balls will always be provided for the social sessions so all you need to do is bring yourself! More advanced players will always be around at the social sessions to offer any tips to help improve your game as well!
We currently have two mens teams who compete in the British University & College Sport (BUCS) league. The mens 1st team will be competing in the Southern Premiere division and the mens 2nd team will be competing in division 2. As well as this, every year we send as many team players as we can to the BUCS Nationals held in Nottingham. This event, commencing in November, is a great opportunity to compete against other table tennis players from other universities all around the country.
Throughout the year, we will hold a number of social events such as inter-club competitions, pub crawls/ pub golf, bowling and other fun table tennis related activities. These social events are a great way to get to know new people who have the shared interest of table tennis!
