Ways To Get Involved
Get Running
Street/campus running is an easy and accessible way to start to start your fitness your journey. It can be done either solo or in a group and all you need is running shoes and a plan. Here is a link to some London based Women’s only running groups
Please stay safe while running by choosing well-lit routes, wearing luminous clothing and keep music to a moderate level. On Monday 4th March, Active Brunel organised a Women’s safety ‘Glow Getter’ neon run, to promote women’s safety and highlight the safety concerns experienced by women when street running.
Women’s Only Gym
Located in the Brunel Sports Centre is a Women’s Only Gym, featuring a variety oy cardio machines, resistance machines and free weight. The space has been designed to create a motivating and empowering space for women to be physically active. Hit your wellbeing goals and level up your fitness game in this Women’s only space.
Active @Brunel
Active@Brunel is a low commitment programme of activities aimed at helping Brunel students to get, and to stay, active in a way that works for them. It is made up of classes such as yoga, Pilates and boxercise, alongside sessions such as pole dancing and dance fitness. Below is a list of women only and women-led sessions being run during International Women’s Week.
