The primary focus of the campaign is to bring awareness to the issues faced by women, and promote gender equality. The campaign will spotlight the contributions made by women throughout history and the work done by women, staff, and alumni.

Period – Pain & Poverty
- Awareness Stall: an awareness stall outside the Hamilton Centre to celebrate International Women’s Day and highlight the pain and poverty experienced during Women’s menstrual period.
- Held inside the Hamilton Centre Friday 8th March – International Women’s Day
- TENs simulation machine – students will be able to experience what period cramps feel like
- Students will try a wheaty bag and alternative pain relief treatments for period pains
- Students are able to pick up single use sanitary pads, tampons or a moon cup
- Posters will include an infographic of how to insert moon cup

Inspire Inclusion – Women in Film & Media
- Think piece/ article: a think piece/ article written by Johanna Weis about the issues surrounding female representation in film and media and the importance of female representation

- Campaign video: a video showcasing Brunel’s women in STEM students and showing the importance of female representation and inclusion in STEM industries

Inspire Inclusion - This Girl Can
- This Girl Can Campaign Video: a video celebrating self-identifying women of different sizes, cultures and abilities participating in different teams and women-only sports activities.
- Footage will be repurposed from rainbow laces, however, additional footage will be shot towards the end of April
- Launching Friday 8th March
- This Girl Can x Women Safety: Glow Getter - A neon evening run highlighting Women’s safety and bringing awareness to the issues faced by women while running in the dark.
- Participants are encouraged to wear Neon.
- Participants will be given a rechargeable Women’s Safety alarm (i.e. SOS alarm and flashlight) – to use in case of emergency
- All the participants will be given a ‘Neon Glow Getter’ wristband to commemorate the run’s completion and to support running/cycling at night-time.
