It's Black History Month!

Black History Month is a time for reflection, celebration, and education. Each October, communities across the UK come together to honor the contributions of Black people, past and present, and to confront ongoing struggles against racism and inequality. This year, the theme of Black History Month at Brunel University of London is particularly poignant: Reclaiming Narratives.

Big News: Active@Brunel Kicks Off Next Week!

Get ready for a full lineup of sport and exercise classes open to all Brunel students. No need to be a pro or commit to a full season—you can drop in whenever you fancy. Whether it’s yoga, pilates, football, pole dancing, or badminton, there's something for everyone.

 

 

 

 

 

Bhangra Society greets students

Brunel's Bhangra Society ran a very successful meet and greet event this week! This event came complete with games and food to give Freshers a warm welcome to the Society. They also hosted their first Bhangra class of the year. Check out their socials @brunel.bhangra to keep up-to-date with their latest events.

 

Dance Club take on tiktok!

Not only did Dance have a great turn out to their classes this week but they've also been taking social media by storm.

Producing funny and relatable videos,  Brunel's Dance Club has been filling our FYP with the latest trends to promote their club to other students!

Kiru has been busy ensuring students have a Safe Start!

Kirithika (Kiru) our Gender, Diversity & Inclusion Officer has helped spread awareness this week of dangers students could face day-to-day. She did this by featuring in our Campus & Street Safety and also Bad Housemates videos release on our socials.

She also co-hosted our Domestic Violence Awareness workshop which helped to inform of the signs of Domestic Violence to keep victims safe.
