Go Ape Adventure Session with Active@Brunel

Join Active@Brunel for an exciting Go Ape Treetop Challenge, the ultimate high ropes adventure with zip wires, Tarzan swings, and thrilling platform-to-platform obstacles! This 3-hour experience is perfect for those seeking a fun, active challenge at one of 34 UK locations. No experience is needed—just wear comfy clothes, bring lunch, and enjoy the adventure, with all equipment provided. Active@Brunel is all about trying new activities, meeting people, and staying active in an inclusive, welcoming environment!

 

Apply to vote online in the Spring Elections

If you're a commuter or placement student and won’t be on campus for the Spring Elections 2025, you can apply to vote online! 📩 The form opens on Monday, 31st March at 10 AM and closes on Sunday, 6th April at 5 PM—don’t miss your chance to have your say! You’ll need to provide your full name, student ID, student email, and a reason for voting online, and the voting link will only be sent to your student email. Apply now and make your vote count!

 

 

 

Malayali society

This week, we’re celebrating the Malayali Society for their incredible efforts in bringing the vibrant culture of Kerala to campus! From fostering a welcoming community to organising exciting events, they’ve worked tirelessly to create memorable experiences for their members. Their latest event, Saarang, an Indian Musical Evening and DJ Night, is happening today from 4 PM - 8 PM at The Venue, showcasing the best of Indian music, dance, and celebration. Whether you're a fan of Bollywood beats or soulful melodies, this is a night you won’t want to miss. 
 

 

Wheelchair Basketball

Brunel’s Wheelchair Basketball team stepped up in the final Varsity fixture by trialling Wheelchair Rugby, ensuring disability sport was represented in the competition. In an intense match, Brunel secured a 46-40 victory in this fixture, showcasing skill and determination. Despite this win, Brunel narrowly lost the overall Varsity title to St. Mary’s with a final score of 17-15. A huge congratulations to the team for their efforts and for championing inclusivity in sport!

 

Kiruthika Chandra Sekar

A huge shoutout to Kiruthika Chandra Sekar, our Gender, Diversity, and Inclusion Officer, for organizing the amazing Women's Health Fair during International Women's Month! The event featured a period simulator challenge, adrenal cocktails, PCOS-friendly recipe books, expert advice from healthcare professionals, and a breast cancer screening station. Her dedication to raising awareness and supporting women's health has made a lasting impact—thank you for your hard work and commitment!
