After over 10 years of lobbying from our officer team and a major push from suggestions and voting on our ideas portal, we are thrilled to announce the opening of a new Multifaith Prayer Space on Monday 7th April! Located in Hamilton Building (HMLT004), this peaceful, accessible space offers separate prayer rooms for male and female students, a communal area, and a reflection room, designed to support spiritual and religious practices for everyone.

Come and make the most of this new resource to support your spiritual wellbeing and reflect in a welcoming environment. 💙

Voting opens next week — have your say in who represents you at Brunel! All students can vote for 9 part-time roles using the Alternative Vote system, either in-person at The Venue (9–10 April, 10 AM–5 PM) or online if you pre-register by 6 April. Make your voice heard and help shape student life!

Compete with your mates in: Touch Tennis, 3v3 Basketball or 3v3 Volleyball. Register your team in advance, or sign up on the day if there’s space available.

Drop-in Sports

No team? No problem! Try out: Hado VR – the world’s first augmented reality sport, combining physical movement with virtual gameplay (in the Netball Hall) or Spike Ball – quick, fun, and super easy to pick up Just show up and get involved—no sign-up required.

A huge shoutout to the Islamic Society for all their incredible work during Ramadan and in celebration of Eid this Saturday! Throughout the holy month, they provided free daily Iftar for students and staff, creating a welcoming and supportive space for the community.

This week, they've also hosted a speaker event, continuing their commitment to engagement, learning, and connection.

All year round, the society has been active—organising regular prayer meetings, raising money for charities, and building a strong community for Muslim students and staff at Brunel.
