Bangladeshi Society
This week, we’re celebrating the Bangladeshi Society for their fantastic efforts in marking International Mother Language Day last week. The society worked hard to create a powerful exhibit, including a mini replica of the International Mother Language Monument, and shared informative posters highlighting the history behind the day. Their dedication didn’t stop there—they also produced some amazing social media content to spread awareness and engage the community. Well done to the Bangladeshi Society for creating such a meaningful and educational experience!

Reps take charge
Michael, Senior Rep of the Month, worked closely with academics to help implement the new representative system, providing invaluable feedback from fellow reps. He also engaged with Year 1 and 2 Computer Science students to identify key areas for improvement and advancement within the department.
Arabella, Academic Course Rep of the Month, played a pivotal role in addressing issues with the Research Methods for Accountancy Project module. By raising concerns about unclear expectations and timetabling issues at the Student Experience Committee, she successfully lobbied for a timetable change, leading to improved student engagement.
Raveena, Academic Course Rep of the Month, has worked tirelessly to bridge the gap between students and lecturers. She addressed issues such as exam schedule delays, NSS survey accessibility, and course administration concerns, ensuring that student voices were heard and acted upon.
