    PUT MORE WATER DISPENSERS ON CAMPUS

    please more water around campus like in other floors of library and around lecture theatres i dont want to walk 2 miles to get water and move the TAP FROM THE GYM TO INSIDE THE GYM BRO PLEASE man gets thirsty in class :(

3:32pm on 9 Oct 25 Hi Ruth. the library definitely needs at least one dispenser on every floor — especially the upper levels where people study for hours. the lecture centre should have at least one in the main entrance lobby and others scattered in hallways between rooms. The tap at the gym 100% needs to be moved inside so people don’t have to go out mid workout. Ideally some around other key student locations like the hamilton centre and simply around the outdoor campus like in the walking paths from accomodations.

3:26pm on 14 Oct 25 Hi Diniz, Quick update with progress. Officers can have conversations about new water dispensers but with the money situation as it is, this is not going to be immediate. I’ve been told by officers there are already a few in the Library so maybe they can do a better job at highlighting locations, I will speak to Library staff. In the meantime, we are going to create a short video showing where all the water refills are on campus (outside, inside, eating establishments etc). I also Suggest students download the Refill Return APP which shows where you can refill. I can also confirm we have asked maintenance to fix the broken one on BZ square. We have also spoke to staff in the gym who are looking at ways they can move theirs to a more convenient location (pipework needs adjusting), so fingers crossed they figure something out. Hope that is helpful :)
