    All AEDs around campus should be registered

    The AEDs dotted around the university do not seem like they are registered to The Circuit network. Registering them to the circuit network will allow for the local ambulance service (London Ambulance Service) to know where the nearest AED is, if there is a cardiac arrest near/within the university's premises. This will also allow visitors and students to be aware of where the nearest AED is. Additionally, if haven't already, please can the university or union check all the pads and batteries and make sure that they are still in date.

He can confirm that there are AEDs located across the university campus, and the First Responder team, accredited by the London Ambulance Service, also carries an AED on board at all times. Regarding registration with The Circuit network, there have been technical challenges due to the site setup and compatibility with their system previously. However, in the event of a 999-call involving a cardiac arrest, the London Ambulance Service automatically patches the call through to the Security team, ensuring that the response remains immediate and effective. All AED pads and batteries are actively monitored to ensure they remain in date and fully operational.
