    I feel like campus should hire more from current enrolled students, rather people from off-campus. this would build and boost employability for students. along with earning money and focusing on studies. I know some students who travel 2+ hours for their part time jobs to support themselves throughout their curriculum. and if being brutally honest campus aint cheaper either.

11:16am on 16 Oct 25 Hi Ruth, it's not just about the student ambassador jobs. but the retail ones too. besides the student ambassador dismissed few of their hired employees. This isn't type of jobs we want to see or experience. atleast have a minimum contracted hours/period for the job for our security.

11:18am on 16 Oct 25 Alongside, the student reps and other similar roles could also be paid. 2 hours weekly or so. this way there would be more engagement from the reps and students which would make unions' work more effective and impactful.

11:55am on 16 Oct 25 Hi Himanchi, Cost Cutter do have students working there but I can raise this with the University to see what other opportunities there may be. We are currently looking at ways we can pay reps in the Union, its a key objective for the year so watch this space!
