Hi,

I’m Nafee Hasan Khan, the Student Activities President here at the Union. I studied Aerospace Engineering here at Brunel.

Launch the Brunel Cup: A casual and competitive sports initiative designed to tackle student loneliness, move us away from post-Covid screen culture, and give every student a chance to connect, play, and belong.
Reimagine Society Elections: By separating them from main officer elections, I want to reduce vote-trading and pressure, making elections fair, transparent, and fun so that societies remain enjoyable and inclusive for everyone.
Make BUCS Sports More Accessible: From scheduling training outside lecture times to offering fair selections, multiple entry points throughout the year, and social sessions for non-selected players, I aim to ensure every student has the chance to be active, included, and part of a team.
Strengthen Student Voice: By empowering Team Brunel and Societies Guild committees, hosting regular forums, and making sure every club and society has clear channels for feedback, I want to ensure that student voices drive key decisions.

The amazing mix of people from everywhere – the diversity here creates such a vibrant, welcoming community.

Bringing the Brunel Cup to life and watching it become a tradition students look forward to every year.
Creating a more inclusive and supportive sports culture where every student, regardless of ability, has a way to get involved.
Working closely with students across societies and teams to make sure their voices shape how we grow together.
