How to order Team Brunel kit

Surridge is the Union’s exclusive Team Brunel leisurewear and playing kit supplier. Team Brunel kit comes in different types depending on whether you’re buying leisurewear, playing kit, personalised kit, or committee stash. Follow the steps below to make sure you order correctly.

1) Leisurewear kit

1. Can be ordered by any student by going to the Surridge webshop here.

2. Browse and add items (training wear, casual wear, kit bundles, accessories) to your basket.

3. Add personalisations if would like them - options include:

   • Club name on the back & initials on the front (above Surridge logo).

4. At checkout choose delivery option:

   • Free delivery to the Union reception → You’ll get an email from Union reception when your order is ready to collect.

   • Home delivery → Pay for shipping to your chosen address.

5. Some items are also available to buy directly at the Union reception - these can't be personalised.

2) Playing kit

Clubs with Union owned kit

• The Union supplies new official playing kit every three years (next delivery: October 2025).

• Kit is paid for by the Union - it does not come out of club budgets.

• To use the kit:

  1. A club committee member signs it out from the Union reception.

  2. Clubs may keep the kit for the whole season, but it must be returned at the end of the season for summer storage.

  3. Clubs are responsible for washing the kit.

• Damaged kit: Bring to Student Activities → replacements arranged.

• Lost/stolen kit: The club must fundraise to cover replacement costs.

• When a new kit order arrives, old kit is kept as spares, or with Union approval can be sold to your members.

Clubs without Union OWNED kit

• Team sports: Can request Union owned kit by contacting Student Activities.

• Individual sports: The Student Activities team can help arrange suitable Surridge kit, which members can then order directly here. The club committee just needs to contact Student Activities to request this. 

3) Special kit requirements (exceptions)

• Surridge is the Union’s exclusive Team Brunel leisurewear and playing kit supplier, however, if your club needs kit that Surridge cannot provide, you must:

  1. Contact the Student Activities team with details.

  2. They will confirm if an exception can be made.

  3. Only once approved can you contact another supplier in conjunction with the Student Activities team.

4) Personalised playing kit

1. Available for all clubs with Union owned kit - individual sports kit can also be personalised.

2. Request personalised playing shirts and/or shorts with Student Activities at the start of the academic year.

3. A 2-week order window for club members via the Surridge webshop here will be opened soon after the start of the academic year.

4. Members order and pay for their own personalised kit - options include:

   • Surname on the back, squad number on the back (front for certain sport) & initials on the shorts.

5. After the order window closes, allow 6–8 weeks for delivery.

6. Kits will be delivered to the Union reception, and buyers will get an email once ready to collect.

5) Committee kit (for committee members only)

1. Go to the Surridge webshop here.

2. Choose from:

   • Sweatshirt, Polo shirt, T-shirt, 1/4 zip top.

   • If you want a different item, contact Student Activities to check if it can be arranged.

3. Personalisation options:

   • Committee position on the back.

   • Initials on the front right.

   • Club name on the front left (under the Union logo).

4. Committee members order and pay for their own committee kit.

5. Delivery options:

   • Free delivery to the Union reception → You’ll get an email from Union reception when your order is ready to collect.

   • Home delivery → Pay for shipping to your chosen address.
