Club and Society Regulations
This document sets out the governing rules for all Union affiliated clubs and societies. It brings together everything you need to know about how student groups should operate, including responsibilities, finance, events, safety, decision making and more.
Whether you are on a committee or just want to understand how things work, this is the place to find the rules that guide and support every student led group at Brunel.

New Clubs and Societies:
Are you interested in becoming an official Club or Society at the Union Of Brunel Students? If yes, the fill in the "New Club/Society" form below and we'll surely get back to you once one of our standing committees has met. Every academic year clubs and societies neew to submit and up to date constitution which can be downloaded from the below templates.
CASES and Awards
CASES is the "Club And Society Evaluation Scheme" - It allows you to progress through a workbook and self-audit so you can find what you need to become one of the best clubs or Society at Brunel. Do not hesitant to contact student.activities@brunel.ac.uk for any futher questions.
The Team Brunel and Societies Balls are awards events to celebrate the successes of our clubs and societies over the last academic year and take place in May on campus! Nominations should be emailed to student.activities@brunel.ac.uk by the deadline of Sunday 27th April.
Event Planning:
We help clubs and societies organise lots of events - submit the "Event Form" below to request your event and start the process with a staff member! When we say event we mean everything from booking a room for a committee meeting, to selling cakes on the concourse, or a club night in The Venue. The form will ask for a risk assessment for which the template below can be downloaded and edited as needed.
Vehicle, Trips and Accidents
Using these forms you can plan out a trip for your club/society. You'll also be able to register yourself as a minibus driver and request the use of our leased 9 seater minibusses. You can also use our Accident Forms for any accidents or near misses during your activitity.
Sports Clubs Coaching
Some of our Sports Clubs have coaches that support their activities & development. Here is the resources pack for Coaches that they will need to complete including the Service Level Agreement (SLA) before training can begin.
Grant Funding:
Here at the Students' Union, we fund Sports Clubs and Societies through annual grants so that they can organise incredible activities for their members including campaigns, events and meetings - Below you can find the links to various request forms.
Reimbursement Forms:
Any members that have expenses for their club/society can reclaim the money back by going to their dedicated club or scoiety page and clicking on the "Finance Request" button on the right hand side. If you are unable to access this then please complete the club/society reimbursement forms below and email them with any relevant receipts/invoices attached to student.activities@brunel.ac.uk.
Any club or society who has raised money for charity needs to use the form below to ensure that these funds can be allocated to their charity of choice.
Democracy:
Here you can find a link to any of the Club and Society elections that might be going on at this moment in time. You can also find a link to resign from your committee position if you need to. You can request admin access to your club/society mini-site of the website so that you can make edits.
