Here at the Union, our campaign for February is LGBT History Month. We aim to promote equality and diversity here every day, but February is a time where we can remember the rich history of our community here at Brunel and across the world. We want to increase the visibility of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people.
We beleive that students will have a much more enjoyable and impactful university experience, by making friends from across the globe and emersing themselves in other students' cultures. We therefore want to bring students from all backgrounds together, increase culture awareness and encourage cross-culture integration throughout campus.

Body positivity is a social movement rooted in the belief that all human beings should have a positive body image, and be accepting of their own bodies as well as the bodies of others. In the week starting the 25th of March, we're bringing this to Brunel.

That's why we've committed a week of our time, supported by our Environmental and Ethics Officer Ana, to raising awareness of what you can do to help out. SEXpectations returned for a second time around, with a focus on STI testing. The campaign promoted safe sex whilst raising awareness of STI symptoms, transmission, treatments and how to get tested.

Our SEXpectations campaign aims to promote safe sex and increase the awareness around STI transmission and testing. During Sexual Health week, we focussed on free condoms, advice on contraception and information about STIs and C-cards.
